
LEVEL I : Fundamentals. Beginning level class for those new to Yoga. Learn the elements of Anusara Yoga, proper breathing and awareness of movement in basic postures.
YOGA HOUR : Play. One hour All Levels flow following the Anusara Principles of Alignment and life affirming philosophy of intrinsic goodness.
FLOW WITH GRACE : All Levels. Source the power of action with breath. Move from the subtle body and tap into a greater current of grace with the Anusara Principles of Alignment.
GENTLE FLOW: Rejuvenate. Realign, refresh and restore your natural state of grace. This is a safe environment for practitioners with injuries and those who want to breathe and relax. No experience necessary.
LEVEL II: Expanding. Build on alignment and understanding of movement learned in LEVEL I, YOGA HOUR, and FLOW WITH GRACE. Explore the edge of inversions, backbends, and arm balances.
ALL LEVELS FLOW : Hatha Yoga to connect breath and movement while dynamically flowing through postures. Alignment based practice with music to relax and awaken your spirit.
BREATH & ALIGNMENT/ INTERNAL FORM : These classes look closely at the detail of alignment and its relation to breath, bandas, and dristi - tools used to focus attention on the body naturally. Ashtanga BREATH & ALIGNMENT is beginner level class, and Ashtanga INTERNAL FORM is intermediate.
MYSORE : Inspired by the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India, this is the traditional method of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Students move at their own pace and receive individualized instruction. All Levels.
PRENATAL YOGA : Focus on breath, awareness and yoga asana to support both you and your baby. If you are new to yoga, pregnancy is the perfect time to begin a practice. Prepare your body for birthing and offer rest, relaxation and vital life force to your baby.
YOGA FOR BACK CARE : This class is designed for those with scoliosis, however, anyone who wishes to create space where there would otherwise be compression, and strengthen supporting structures so that overworked areas can be released and relax, is encouraged to attend. THE PRACTICE : Radical Level II+ Two hours of awesome advanced practice. Must be able to do urdhva dhanurasana with straight arms and kick up to handstand at the wall unassisted. Please contact teacher to plan for this rocking class!
FIRST FRIDAY : The first Friday of every month Genevieve and Suki co-teach an All Levels class designed for everyone. This class is by donation as a way for Shree to be available to those who could not get to yoga otherwise. See News page for next class date.
